Groundwork
in the Northwest

Groundwork has managed the Vale Royal Environmental Network as one of its projects since May 2004. The network allows like-minded environmental organisations to form successful partnerships and share information and knowledge.

To produce a quarterley newsletter for members.
To hold networking and training events.
To publicise VREN through displays and the Groundwork website.

Since May 2004, Groundwork has successfully managed VREN. We have produced highly informative newsletters on a quarterly basis and helped to develop capacity building of our members through training.

VREN is funded primarily through a service level agreement with Vale Royal Borough Council.

Our main partner is Vale Royal Borough Council and we also work with many environmental organisations based in Vale Royal.
